Prize 4 - TRYBE Optics NVG-50 Dual 1x White Phosphor Tube Night Vision Goggle, Gen 3 MSRP $8,499

TRYBE Optics has acquired a highly sought-after lot of third generation night vision intensifier tubes made by Elbit Systems of America, the same U.S. manufacturer that provides tubes for our U.S. military. These extremely desirable Elbit intensifier tubes did not reach one or more minimums of the DOD’s strict criteria for Mil-Spec, which is your gain! Military parameters that require suites of complying factors, these tubes may not reach every aspect of stringent government standards, but to you it’s worth a ton of money! An extra spot or blemish outside the center of the viewing area may mean nothing to you in terms of performance, but a great deal to your wallet! Photocathode sensitivity or halo or burn-in or other specifications that do not reach Mil-Spec minimums may not even be noticeable to your eye, and again save you hundreds! Ask yourself what an extra spot in your field of view is worth, or resolution of only 64 instead of a bit higher. $500.00? A grand? $1500.00? Street cred data sheets come with every goggle, signifying authenticity of these thin-filmed Elbit XLSH tubes. The extensive pedigree of these tubes is found with militaries around the world. These devices have a minimum FOM specification of 1600, which means they are not exportable. It also means that most of the world’s soldiers cannot buy these devices, as individuals, or groups, or countries because of the advanced U.S. technology and parts contained. Think about it. This powerful and technologically sophisticated goggle is not exportable and cannot normally be acquired outside the good old U.S. of A. There are minimal real world performance differences between what you can see with our TRYBE Optics NVG-50 goggles and the latest and most expensive units available. Meaning, almost anything you can see with the best you can generally see with ours also. Just not quite as well. At this level of high-end product, it takes increasingly larger amounts of money for decreasingly smaller increments of increased performance. These are excellent for field use hung as binoculars around your neck, and the giant 50-degree field of view is ideal for scanning woodland and urban terrain to detect both 4-legged and 2-legged varmints. When head or helmet mounted, they provide superb situational awareness that allows instant aiming of firearm with visible or IR laser. Both dovetail and horn mount interfaces are provided for hands-free attachment. Close task work in zero light is possible via integral IR illuminator and extremely short minimum focus. Articulating barrels swing individually out of the way, which powers down the binocular for safety as well as battery conservation. Battery cap includes adapter allowing for extensive run time via alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable CR123A or AA battery. Bright light cut off preserves your tubes automatically. Gain control is manual, allowing you to adjust to the maximum light intensification possible, but also to lower the brightness to the minimum required for your personal scenario, which saves biological night vision as well as battery life. Navy Seals need the best equipment available at any price, and our government buys it for them. We are not navy seals, and we pay for our own equipment. Buy what you need, save the rest. With the TRYBE Optics NVG-50 goggle, you’re on the highway with the big kids. There’s no substitute for an amazing pair of Gen III green or white phosphor tubes made by Elbit Systems of America at this price. This globally proven goggle design may not have the shiniest paint job or finest tune, but it competes with everything out there for a fraction of the price. Save a grand or more on our goggle and spend it on a helmet or laser aiming system or ammo. Or take yourself out to dinner to celebrate your intelligence by saving a load on your new goggle! Buy what YOU need, not what a navy seal needs. Unless you’re exiting at depth from a submarine or HALO jumping from an aircraft, you’ll realize extreme satisfaction with these goggles, and be thrilled with the amazing performance and your incredibly smart savings. Cost versus performance, the TRYBE Optics NVG-50 may be the best Gen III night vision goggle available at any price. WARNING: California`s Proposition 65.
